DON'T MISTAKE A SHORT ANSWER FOR AN EMPTY MEMORY
A study by Miriam Johnson and colleagues, first published online in Child Maltreatment in April 2025 and now appearing in Volume 31, Issue 1, provides compelling evidence that preschool-aged children may be capable of providing considerably more forensically relevant information than interviewers sometimes assume.
